Congratulations to the Year 3 – 9 students who have been reading their way to success this semester! They have completed a total of 16,360 quizzes and read 71,970,510 words on the Literacy Pro program. To celebrate the achievements of our Upper Primary students, every child received a prize for their reading goal achieved and the following students received Semester 2 Literacy Pro Principal’s Awards at a recent Assembly.
We also have another group of high flyers to celebrate. Congratulations to the following students who read over one million words on the Literacy Pro program this year. We enjoyed a ‘marvellous morning tea’ to celebrate this amazing ‘milestone’ with a ‘magnificent’ array of treats beginning with the letter M to ‘match’ the ‘monumental’ achievements of our ‘millionaire’ readers!
The LitPro program will remain open and students are welcome to continue reading and completing quizzes until 31 December. Students are then directed to have a break in the new year and to wait until they complete their initial LitPro test early in Term 1 to commence the program in 2020.
