Congratulations to Lincoln Graham on an outstanding performance at the Regional Athletics Carnival, following his impressive achievement of being named Age Champion at the District Athletics Carnival.

Lincoln continued to showcase his talent and determination at the Regional Championships, producing some fantastic results against a very strong field. His performance in the Long Jump was a standout, with Lincoln finishing in second place and securing his qualification for the upcoming State Athletics Championships.

Lincoln also competed in the 400m, finishing an impressive fifth. In an incredibly close race, he missed fourth place by just four hundredths of a second! Competing in a highly competitive age group that included two national medal-winning athletes, Lincoln’s performance was exceptional. He recorded a fantastic personal best time of 1:01.

Lincoln continued his strong carnival in the 200m, recording another personal best with a time of 27 seconds.

These results are a wonderful reflection of Lincoln’s commitment, determination and growing potential as an athlete. To perform at such a high level against some of the best athletes in the region is a fantastic achievement, and we are incredibly proud of his efforts.

We now look forward to seeing Lincoln take on the best athletes from across the state at the State Athletics Championships. We wish him all the very best and know he will give it his all!
