P-12 Queensland School Library Week Competition
In 2018, the Queensland School Library Association introduced the inaugural Queensland School Library Week (QSLW) to highlight the important work of school libraries. We are blessed with exceptional library facilities, resources and staff at GCC and are excited to be involved in QSLW 2020, which runs from Monday 15 Feburary to Friday 19 February. The theme this year is School Libraries – Unlocking the Future. Students are invited to participate in the annual QSLW competition with the details noted below. Major winners will each receive a $50 book voucher and their school will receive a $100 book voucher. Although we can only send one entry per category from the College, we look forward to selecting our best GCC entries and showcasing them at the library. Entries are to be handed in at the library or submitted by email to our Teacher Librarians by Monday 22 February, with the GCC winners announced on Tuesday 23 February.
