The countdown to Book Week is on! We’ll be celebrating with two special events for our Primary and Secondary students to celebrate the theme Escape to Everywhere.

Monday 21 August: Year 7 – 12  Character Day

Character Day will feature at both Middle School and Senior School Assemblies.

Thursday 24 August: Prep – Year 6 Book Week Parade

Time: 8:45am – 9:45am
Venue: SUA

Students are invited to take part in these events by dressing up as a favourite book character. Primary students need to bring the book along that inspired their costume.

RELAX AND READ DAY – MIDDLE SCHOOL BOOK WEEK EVENT

The Middle School ‘Relax and Read’ day will be held on Wednesday 23 August. The day will include extra opportunities for students to connect with reading for learning and for relaxation during normal classes.

BOOK FAIR

Our ‘Reading Rainforest’ Book Fair will be running from Monday 21 August – Thursday 24 August at the Secondary end of the Library from 8:00am – 3:30pm daily. Book Fair will cater for students in Prep – Year 9 and include a large range of books to choose from. Parents and Grandparents are invited to attend with or without children and join us as we celebrate reading.
