The year is flying by and in Year 8 we are preparing the students to seriously think about nominating for leadership positions for 2018.

As part of this preparation, Year 8 attended a Leadership day on Wednesday at Tunnel Ridge. Here the students participated in various activities that encouraged leadership qualities and enabled the students to look at what style of leader that might be.

Our theme for the day was, “What is right is not alway popular and what is popular is not always right.”

To wrap up the day we had Graham Hyman speak to the students about the what it takes to be a leader and encourage them to seriously think about putting their name forward as a potential Middle School Leader.
