On Friday 24 October 2025, the GCC community gathered for our inaugural See You at the Pole prayer morning—marking the beginning of what we hope will become a grand tradition at our College. From 7:30am, students and staff joined together around the flagpole to lift up our College and one another in prayer, sharing a special time of faith, connection, and pastries. 

Hosted by Student Voice, this event was part of the global See You at the Pole movement, where students around the world unite to pray for their schools, communities, and nations. It was a powerful reminder that prayer is central to who we are as a Christian College, and that we are called to live out our values of Loving Jesus, Loving Others.

The morning was filled with heartfelt prayers for friends, families, staff, and the wider community, as well as gratitude for God’s ongoing presence and blessing in our College. Seeing students and staff standing side by side in prayer was a beautiful expression of unity and faith in action.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful start to what we believe will be a long-standing GCC tradition—a community anchored in prayer.
