Do you love GCC?  Are you able to help contribute to an already wonderful College?

We really appreciate GCC families’ support and generosity for the Parents and Friends group who do an amazing job fundraising for the College’s resources which contribute to our children’s education.

In the past four years, the P and F have managed to raise around $110,000  which has been put towards funding of fantastic resources like the mobile Aluminium Grandstand seating, cold water drinking bubblers, coffee trailer being utilised as a business by DeLorean project, Primary Road Safety startup costs, Friendology Girl Power and Good Guys curriculum, giant Clock for the oval requested by Senior students, shade structure over tuckshop, sinks for kitchen garden, sporting equipment, a piano for the music room and our beautifully  paved flag area.

In order to continue this great work, the P and F are in need of a committee coordinator to oversee the organisation of the group.  Can you assist? There is currently experienced coordinators in place to run each of the regular fundraising projects so there is no need to be concerned about being committed to doing a lot of work, jobs are only ever allocated on a voluntary basis.

Also required in 2018 is a Secretary to attend meetings and check minutes taken by the Business Manager. For this group and all the events held by P and F (such as Mother’s day and Father’s day stalls, disco etc.) to continue we need members to come join in the joy of contributing to the College. There are many talented parents and carers in our school community so if you can help in any way, big or small please email us straight away at [email protected] or come to our next meeting to see what we do. Next meeting will be held at 7pm Tuesday 3 October 2017 (first week back) upstairs in the school library. We would love to see some new faces.
