Year 5 have been learning about how the camera works. Jye Conway-Smiley shares some of his learning and photographs below.
“I had great fun learning how to use the camera with Mrs Weatherburn and finding out how to take different types of photos. Putting the camera up against the trunk and facing upwards created some great photos.
It was very tricky to get photos of live animals as they don’t stay still long enough to get a clear shot. Flowers and plants looked better when they had dew/raindrops on them.
Using the settings helped me to take different styles of pictures – especially creative and sport. Sunny days were easier than overcast/cloudy days for lighting.
We discovered lots of places in the College we had never seen!
I would like to try landscape photography as well.
I would love to be a photographer when I am an adult.”
