Remember that really hot weekend we had two weeks ago? Well, Year 11 student Holly Lubcke was competing in the Under 17s Women’s 2018 Cross-Country National Series at Nerang in the sweltering 38 degree heat. Holly had a dominating performance at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games course and currently takes the lead in the series after back to back wins in rounds one and two held in Orange, NSW in December 2017.

Holly hopes to hold her lead and is heading off to Pemberton in WA this Australia Day long weekend to compete in rounds five and six. We wish Holly all the best and can’t wait to find out how she did.
