All students are welcome to borrow from our print collection for over the holidays. There’s a great selection of stories from a range of genres together with lots of interesting information books available for loan. Primary students in Year 3 – 6 can also access the Literacy Pro eBook Library over the holidays via the GCCHub Weebly. Students are welcome to do their quiz but need to remember the three per day limit.
Secondary students have 24/7 access to the eBook and eAudiobook collection from our Wheelers ePlatform using their school username and password. Audiobooks are enjoying increased popularity for young people as well as adult readers/listeners. Our GCC eBook collection via Wheelers ePlatform has over 1200 eBooks and 380 eAudiobooks available for loan, so there are so many options to choose from and great stories are just a click away.
Sunshine Coast Libraries have an extensive range of children’s and young adult books for loan as well as a wide range of e-resources including ebooks, audiobooks, e-magazines, music and films. All these items are available for free and can be accessed with your membership card.
All the best for the end of Term 2 and we hope you have a relaxing holiday with lots of time to enjoy a great read!
