Book Launch Party

Award-winning author Aleesah Darlison is launching her latest book Rusty the Rainbow Bird at The Little Book Nook at Palmwoods on Saturday 2 April. Aleesah has written over 50 books for children including picture books, chapter books, novels, and series.

Aleesah’s stories often champion the cause of animals and the environment. She loves creating books that make readers laugh, that take readers on an adventure, and that make a difference. The Year 1 and 2 Book Club enjoyed learning about Aleesah’s Endangered Animal Tales Series this week. Rusty the Rainbow Bird is the newest book in the series. Writing Camps

The internationally acclaimed writing course for students aged 9-14 shows you how to write stories the way authors do. On a three-day, school holiday writing camp, a professional author will take you on a journey of fun and discovery, learning how to create, develop and write awesome stories, guiding you every step of the way.
