The Agricultural Science students achieved some amazing results in the Hermitage Plant Science competition run by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. For the first time ever, the Year 11 Aggies won Overall 1st Class! We also backed this up with an Overall 3rd Class for the Year 10 Aggies! Individual prizes from the awards were as follows:

Students conducted a range of investigations, including “How different rates of fertiliser affects NDVI and plant health of pasture” and “How different coatings on nitrogen fertiliser affects plant uptake and leaching”. They also presented on a global agricultural issue and completed a mind map on plant health.
