Year 10 students Vanita Mens, Taylah Holt, Taylor Olsen and Andrea Little are entering a cooking competition held by the Australian Culinary Federation. The competition is called the Junior Secondary Schools Culinary Challenge and it is being run through the Institute of TAFE. The Regional Finals are being held on Saturday 3 August and then the State Final on Saturday 10 August.
The students have to cook a mail meal in less than 90 minutes using a Chicken Maryland.
