The GCC Annual Sport Awards are on next Wednesday, 25 October at 6pm in the church auditorium. Many students will be receiving awards for their achievements and effort in Sport throughout the year. All students who will be receiving an award have been sent an invitation.

The event is open for everyone at GCC so if you would like to come along and support our sporting achievers and listen to our fabulous guest speaker you are most welcome.

Our guest speaker this year is Mr Simon Black. Simon Black is a former Australian Rules Football player and assistant coach, who played his whole career with the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League. Black was a midfielder with a reputation for hard work and skill. He was a key member of Brisbane Lions team that won three Premierships in 2001 – 2003.

A light supper will be served after the formal presentations.
