Term 2 and into the start of Term 3 has been another busy and successful period for sport at GCC. Students have represented the College with enthusiasm and excellent sportsmanship in cross-country, athletics, volleyball, soccer, and netball.

Highlights included the Secondary Athletics Carnival at the Sunshine Coast University Track, where Zion claimed the House Championship and eight GCC athletics records were broken. Our Cross Country Carnivals also saw strong participation and outstanding individual performances, while Sophie Doyle continued to represent GCC with distinction at the National Track and Field Championships.

Our volleyball program enjoyed another successful term, with strong performances at the Intermediate Schools Cup and Trish Buckley Volleyball competitions. 

As we look ahead to Term 3, there are many exciting opportunities taking place with Touch Football, Oztag, Basketball, Mountain biking, Athletics, and Volleyball. Thank you to our students, coaches, staff, and families for their ongoing commitment to GCC sport.
