Term 1 was an action-packed season of sport at GCC, offering students a wealth of opportunities to compete, develop their skills, and display outstanding sportsmanship. Our junior boys’ soccer team had a strong season, securing more wins than losses, while the junior girls claimed a thrilling victory against St Andrew’s Anglican College in Week 9. Senior SCISSA Volleyball teams dominated throughout the term, with all teams poised to compete in the Grand Finals in Week 1 of Term 2.

Beyond school competitions, our Monday night netball teams put in strong performances, and our beach volleyball teams returned from the National All Schools tournament at Coolangatta with an impressive collection of gold, silver, and bronze medals. Other exciting events this term included the Senior Trish Buckley Volleyball competition, the Justin Hodges Rugby League Gala, the T20 Cricket competition, and our Swimming and Cross Country carnivals.
