GCC’s Boal family went to the United Kingdom recently to attend a very important commemoration for the end of World War 1. This was a huge formal event and blazers were compulsory for the participants to join in the march so the Boal family asked special permission to sew a GCC logo onto Lochlann’s blazer.
Lochlann is only in Year 1 so it was a very big deal for him to join in the march in Marsden on 1 July to commemorate the end of World War 1. Many people commented on how smart Lochlann looked marching up to the cenotaph before going on to a remembrance service and then back to the British Legion Club for refreshments.
How lovely to see the GCC logo so proudly worn across the other side of the world!
