Every year, we have the privilege of being a part of an interdenominational church service where we gather with other Christian faith-based schools on the Sunshine Coast, with a different school hosting the service each year. This year it was GCC’s turn to host, and on Wednesday 17 August we had the opportunity to welcome twelve schools from Caloundra up to Noosa to join us in the GPAC.

There were many highlights of the service. I loved the combined Primary choir consisting of Little Voices, Music Makers and Cool Voices singing “I will boast in the Lord”. We were encouraged with a message from Pastor Syd preaching from 1 Corinthians 1:10-3 that it is Christ that unites us, ending the service with staff, students and representatives from other schools joining in unity in a virtual choir to sing “The Blessing” over the Sunshine Coast.

Afterwards were treated to a delicious morning tea, giving us the opportunity to build relationships with students and staff from other schools.
