Year 10 students have been having work experience lessons in personal presentation and communication skills both verbal and nonverbal and future lessons on occupational health and safety.
Some Year 10 students still haven’t returned their work experience agreement forms and need to do so as soon as possible.
Year 12s are going to the annual University Showcase on Friday the 7 March at Beerwah State High School. It is an opportunity for students early in the year, to become aware of what the range of universities, such as Queensland University of Technology and the University of the Sunshine Coast, intend to offer in 2015.
The NEW 2014 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care schools program offered at Brisbane North Institute of TAFE has undergone a review, where changes to this delivery model have been implemented. Students in this program will now attend their allocated TAFE face to face training day every week and attend their vocational placement at the end of this term.
