Work Experience

Congratulations to all our Year 10 students who did a fabulous job last week in workplaces from Coolum to Hemmant in Brisbane and even down in Sydney! The feedback from their supervisors was very positive and encouraging. Not all photos have come in yet but our our photo gallery so far is at the bottom of this article.

Bond University Law Experience

Future Pathways Bond University

Bond University’s Law Experience is a great program aimed at students who have an interest in legal studies and/or a career in law. The program provides budding lawyers with information on what it takes to study law and the diverse career options available.

While on campus students will –

* Find out first-hand what studying law is all about
* Discover special topics in law with our professors and legal specialists
* Engage in legal scenarios in our purpose built moot courtrooms; and
* Enjoy lunch and refreshments with current law students

During the course of the day, students will also be involved in a range of activities including a ‘client interview’ and a ‘mock trial’, which will demonstrate how legal skills are put into practice. The complimentary program is open to all high school students with teachers and parents welcome, but places are limited.

Saturday, 18 May 2013, 9.00am – 3.00pm

Lecture Theatre 4, University Centre, Bond University Please visit the Law Experience Webpage for additional details and to register your attendance. Registration will close on Wednesday, 15 May 2013.
