Our French students proudly represented Glasshouse Christian College at this year’s LTQ Sunshine Coast French Speech Competition, joining students from Years 5 to 12 from across the region.

We were delighted to see five GCC students recognised for their performances:

• Hamilton, Year 6 – 1st Place
• Felicity, Year 5 – 2nd Place
• Hannah, Year 8 – 3rd Place
• Scarlett, Year 6 – Highly Commended
• Allegra, Year 9 – Highly Commended

These results are a wonderful recognition of the students’ hard work and dedication. In the lead-up to the competition, our students worked on their pronunciation, expression and confidence, taking on feedback and continually refining their speeches.

Most importantly, all of our students represented GCC with pride, grace and courage. It was wonderful to see them step outside their comfort zones, speak French in front of an audience and support one another throughout the day.

Félicitations à tous nos participants!
