Tyler and Lilly Short competed in the Fraser Coast Interschools Equestrian Championships last week and had a fantastic time competing and representing our College. Competitors came from all over the Wide Bay and Sunshine Coast Areas so it was also great to meet students from these areas.
The carnival began with an opening ceremony where Tyler and Lilly were so proud to represent the school and felt very special holding the school flag during the march past. There were a wide range of events they could compete in and Tyler and Lilly were very busy but had a great time over the few days.
Lilly achieved the following placings: 1st place in showjumping, western dry pattern, overall in western riding, sporting challenge and rider class.
Third in English dressage, third in hacking class and fifth in stockman’s extreme trail.
Tyler placed first in show jumping and fifth in western dry pattern.
