What a great first day of term we had. The Year 1 students were able to enjoy a science demonstration by our very own Mrs G! There were lots of happy students as they watched different liquids mixed together and had a go at being scientists. Their faces of awe and gasps of excitement when they saw the result was priceless! We were having so much fun that the Pastors and Mrs Leary even joined us!

This term we are learning about materials and mixtures as well as procedure writing. Creating elephant toothpaste was a wonderful way to get the students excited about the learning ahead this term. Perhaps they could tell you the steps we followed to make this and what happened when the catalyst was finally added.
