A strong team of runners represented GCC at the District Cross Country competition at the Maroochydore Cricket grounds.

GCC runners dug deep to mix well with the best runners from nine Sunshine Coast Independent Schools. Many GCC runners finished within the top 20 for each race.

The individual efforts of our Cross Country runners this year were exceptional especially given that each race consisted of up to 100 competitors.

Special mentions should be made for the following runners who managed to finish within the top 10 for their age group.  Dominic Ruhle 3rd, Alyssa Rose 8th, Chloe Dunford 9th and Bakani Kombani 10th.
