Save Your Seat In The Spotlight

A memorable seat plaque engraved in your name

We are very excited that this year the construction of our state-of-the-art 600-seat Performance Hall will be completed. This magnificent facility will revolutionise performing arts at our College, providing a two-level theatre experience with modern decor and aesthetics that will transform the arts into memorable experiences for both performers and audiences. This will not just be a performing arts facility for amazing productions but will also be the venue for assemblies, chapels, presentation nights and other special ceremonies and events. We want this to be a facility of which, all our students, families and our local community can be very proud.

Our “Save Your Seat In The Spotlight” capital giving campaign is the first we have launched here at GCC. We are asking businesses, community groups, College families past and present, alumni, and in fact anyone who supports GCC and its students, to get behind this venture.

For anyone contributing $250 or above, we will provide an engraved plaque with your name, family member’s names, or business name, mounted to the back of a seat in the completed theatre, in thankful acknowledgment of your donation. Officially there are three levels of giving that comprise this campaign and monthly payments are welcome. The location of the seat is based upon the level of giving: silver, gold or platinum:

  • Silver level: $250
  • Gold level: $500
  • Platinum level: $1000 and over

Thanks to our donors

The College would like to thank all donors who have generously given into this Capital Giving Campaign so far. It will be a while until we can formally recognise each donation by way of an engraved seat plaque in their name, but in the meantime, we would like to acknowledge the kind donation of the people and businesses listed below, plus others not named, and express the College’s absolute gratitude.
The Campaign is still open, so there is time for you to consider joining these donors by making your pledge. All pledges over $250 will be recognised by an engraved plaque on a seat in our brand new Performance Hall when construction is complete.
