Caitlin Moore swam fantastically at the Sunshine Coast Regional Carnival and has qualified to swim at the Queensland State Championships towards the end of March.
GCCC had three representatives at the Regional Carnival with both Molly McCaughey and Cassidy Ferris swimming personal best times, placing 12th and 13th in their respective backstroke and freestyle races.
Caitlin however, dominated her age group placing second in six events and fifth in her seventh event also achieving several personal best times. She will represent the Sunshine Coast in 50m freestyle, backstoke and butterfly, 100m freestyle and backstoke, 200 individual medley and also in two relays. Caitlin trains in Caloundra several times each week and also competes during the weekends so she has worked very hard to gain this success. We wish her all the best at the upcoming championships.
