Our annual Book Fair recently ran throughout Book Week and was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate reading with the College community.
Primary students enjoyed the preview and purchase sessions and completed a Wish List for their top picks – a challenge for some due to the wide range of titles available. Dropping in before school or at lunch was popular with Secondary students. Many families visited with their children to browse the Book Fair. All orders, whether online or in person were greatly appreciated.
With your generosity we sold $6350 worth of books, allowing us to receive $1905 in commission to purchase books for the College. We have been busy cataloguing the new titles and look forward to getting them on the shelves. Special thanks to the library team and Book Fair volunteers, including Shondra Briton, Leah Roulston and Amanda Klein who assisted with Book Fair.
