A massive congratulations to our Agricultural Science students who absolutely excelled at the Department of Primary Industries Hermitage Research Station Plant Science Awards! What an outstanding result across the grades and an incredible recognition of the hard work, curiosity and passion these students bring to Agricultural Science.

A very special moment was seeing Grade 12 student Lotty Kelly present her research, “Evaluating the Genetic Resistance of Selected Barley Cultivars Against Net Blotch Disease and its Impact on Plant Growth.” It was also fantastic to have past student Paton Turner there, now representing the University of Queensland as an Agricultural Science Ambassador. Seeing our past and present Aggies continuing to pursue their passion for agriculture makes us incredibly proud!
