Following the sparkle and excitement of the Year 12 Formal on Thursday 20 November, the festivities kept rolling! A dedicated group of staff joined 67 graduating students for the annual Mystery Bus Tour—an overnight adventure filled with energy, surprises, and moments they’ll talk about for years.
Now in its ninth year, this event has become a standout tradition on our College calendar, providing students with a fun, uplifting, and safe way to continue their Formal celebrations. The College’s ongoing support of this optional experience highlights how deeply we value our young people. It’s truly an honour to serve in a community that invests so generously in them.
Thanks to outstanding support from families, businesses, and individuals, between $3,500 and $4,000 worth of prizes were donated. Students headed home with gift vouchers, certificates, discounts, and small gifts. it was an incredible display of generosity from our wider community.
Evening Highlights Included:
- Launching into the night, we turned up to the first venue and in a series of disasters….the venue got our arrival time and date wrong!
- So, we headed up to Kangaroo Point cliffs to look and reflect on why something always seems to happen on this trip!
- Hours of fun at Strike Bowling in Queen Street Mall—bowling lanes, karaoke rooms, pool tables, pizza, mini-golf, and laser tag kept everyone entertained.
- A final stop at Mt Coot-tha, capturing the sunrise and closing the night with a stunning view.
