If you’ve been to our Main Admin recently, you certainly know that Christmas is just around the corner. The ladies have decorated it beautifully. Many of you at home are probably already wrapping up gifts and putting them under the tree but things move a little slower in the Curtis household.At Glasshouse Christian College, we’re wrapping up an incredible year—a year that felt like a gift in itself. Our Bible verse for 2024, “Walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7), reminded us of God’s guidance throughout every moment.

The Gift of Celebration

Term 4 has been a season of celebration, and what a festive season it has been so far! We’ve celebrated our Drama, and Music showcases, our sports achievements, Year 12 graduation and formal, and Christmas concerts. Next week we are unwrapping the Year 6 Graduation and the Year 9 Celebration Dinner.

The Unwrapping of 2025

As we wrap up 2024, I can’t help but think about what’s next. Wrapping a gift is only half the story—there’s the excitement of unwrapping it, too. The new year will bring fresh opportunities, new challenges, and the continuation of our journey in faith. What lies ahead for our students and staff may be somewhat unknown, but we walk forward confidently, trusting in God’s plan.

A Thank You Note

No gift is complete without a heartfelt thank-you note. To our parents, thank you for entrusting us with the incredible privilege of partnering in your child’s education. To our staff, thank you for your tireless dedication, creativity, and passion. And to our students, thank you for inspiring us every day with your energy, curiosity, and resilience.

As we wrap up 2024 and tuck it neatly into the box of memories, may we also unwrap the joy of Christmas, the gift of family, and the blessings of a season filled with hope. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from myself and all of us at GCC! See you in 2025!
