Year 6 has been enjoying getting truly ‘hands-on’ with their maths learning this week.
Groups of students have been challenged to make a 3D shape using a continuous loop of string. You should give this a try, it is harder than it sounds!
We’ve also been working on constructing a scale model of the Egyptian Pyramids using protractors and rulers to make our very own nets. There has been plenty of laughter and frustration (albeit temporary). Maths certainly is fun!
